I'm thrilled to announce that applications are open now for The Jennifer Weiner x Blue Stoop Fellowship!

This Fellowship has been a long time in the making (read all about it in this piece from The Philadelphia Citizen here) and I’m so pleased to be partnered with an organization like Blue Stoop, a tireless ally to writers here in Philadelphia and beyond.

Being a writer is hard! Let’s make  it a little easier. If you’re a woman/woman-identifying, emerging prose writer and want some money to support your writing, this is for you! I can’t wait to read your work!

The details:

The Jennifer Weiner x Blue Stoop Fellowship will provide 6 woman-identified* emerging prose writers with a $5000 stipend to support fellows' creative endeavors, as well as a supportive cohort of peers, professional mentoring from Jennifer Weiner, career-building promotional opportunities, and access to additional resources provided by Blue Stoop.

This application will remain open from Monday, August 5, 2024 to Monday, August 26, 2024, 11:59pm ET. Finalists and winners will be notified no later than October 21, 2024.
Preliminary selections will by made by the Blue Stoop staff and board, and the final selections will be made by Jennifer Weiner.

The fellowship period will be November 1, 2024 through December 14, 2024, with opportunities for ongoing connection, resources, and opportunities with Blue Stoop continuing into 2025.
